Each illustration demonstrates one of four levels of a stratospheric elevator - a huge and majestic structure of glass and metal in the center of a megalopolis: Park, Gardens in the Sky, Sky port and Space observatory. Finished:

Created in Matte painting technique. Idea:

The third floor of the elevator is situated at a considerable height and serves as an air terminal of the megapolis. The third level includes a huge waiting room (upper hemisphere), a cargo storehouse (lower hemisphere) and a big moorage to tie down the airships of any class and size. A smaller sphere which rises above the bigger one is a control tower equipped with a weather vane.
